Decent kit I’ve ridden on this kit for about a month, 3-4 days a week, and am very happy with it. It arrived with the tire installed and inflated, so was close to bolt-on. Figuring out how to rig the wires and store the controller was where most of the work went. The motor easily outruns any human powered cyclist, much to the chagrin of Washington DC type A cut-throats. As the other comments have said, it’s best to have some mechanical knowledge when dealing with this. Specifically, wire routing skill (ie lots of zip ties) is a must. The other tricky part of the install was the rear wheel, which is too wide for a standard 26″ mountain bike. I did install it in the end, but my rear wheel was horizontally offset by about half an inch. That’s not an ideal situation if your wheel is offset like that. So you’d want to install this on a bike with a wider than normal frame. Were I buying this again, I would pay close attention to the required rear wheel width and find an appropriate frame…
