Buying more to replace all of our water bottles I had heard from mulitple friends that the Polar Insulated water bottles were significantly better for longer bike rides so I decided to buy one to try it out. For my first ride with the family, I filled one of our water bottles just with ice, and then I filled the Polar water bottle with water and two ice cubes. This bottle insulates nicely and the lid seals well – no leaks and no annoying drippy condensation. Great bottle for the money.I bought my first Polar Bottle about two years ago, and I typically use it 2-3 times a week. My only problem occurred a couple of weeks ago when a plastic piece on the lid cracked, making it difficult to close the mouthpiece. Great bottle! I fill this up about a quarter of the way with ice and the rest water and it stays cool for a couple hours in the hot sun.I’ve dropped and ran over one of these and it held up just fine. I’ve washed it about 100 times and its still in great shape.Easy to grab loop, contoured shape for good grip while riding.My only gripes?
